Whether we care to admit it or not, we all love the approval we get from others when we do something good. It makes us feel good. It excites us. It often leads us to do more good things. And God certainly rejoices when we serve others in His love and grace, and we live out His mission and purpose in our lives. Unfortunately, we too often turn this into a self-serving, self-aggrandizing opportunity and we lose the heart for why we serve – that God alone would receive the glory, honor and praise. In this final week of the series we are reminded that it is our will that aligns with God, not His will to ours.
