Passage: Luke 9:28-36
Today, we will look at the magnificent Transfiguration of Our Lord from the perspective of Moses. Although Moses was not allowed to enter the Promised Land, he was allowed to see it from afar, and God called Moses to stand beside Jesus as His true divinity and glory was revealed to His disciples. We have a similar glimpse of the fullness of God’s plan in Jesus, who fulfills the Law and the Prophets – represented by Moses and Elijah. As we reflect on this moment, we are called to fix our eyes on Christ – the Son of God, His Chosen One, our source of eternal hope – and listen to Him.
