“For to us a child is born…” The promised Messiah has come. God has broken into the sin and shame of this world, has brought truth to life, has brought forgiveness and grace in His own suffering and death. As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, we remember in this prophecy from Isaiah, that His reign has begun, and we are now, in this very moment, in the eternal kingdom of our Savior.
