Passage: Isaiah 53:1-7

The hope of this Messiah does not come to God’s people without a cost. Ultimately, we know this cost was paid in the death of our Savior Jesus Christ. Isaiah 53 is a promise of the suffering of God’s Servant, the Messiah, but suffering with a purpose – that of the redemption of God’s people for eternity.
