Living on a Mission
At Peace, we understand our purpose as disciples of Jesus, collectively and individually in our daily lives, is to be about proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples and moving His mission forward! This happens in a number of ways – as we serve on Sunday mornings the people that God brings to our campus, as we serve in community organizations throughout the week that are meeting the needs of our community, but also as we serve our families, our neighbors, co-workers and those we see in need. Each time we serve another person in love, we are “planting the Gospel” in their life, we are sharing the good news of love in their life.
As you considering serving with the disciples of Jesus, we’d also encourage you to think about how you serve wherever God takes you throughout the week. If He’s placed an idea on your heart that you don’t see listed on this page, then reach out. It might be that God has brought you here for us to reach out in new ways! Or maybe you’re already serving and you want to keep doing it – go for it! God moves His mission forward through each of us, and we want to celebrate with you as He does!
