When seasons of life are difficult, when it feels like we are not successful, when it feels like the world is against us, it can be difficult to remember that as God’s chosen, redeemed people, His mission and purpose through us will not fail. He has chosen to dwell within us by His Spirit, He has chosen to share His good news through each of us. As the weary traveler would have continued to walk up the mountain to Jerusalem, most certainly it would be easy to turn away because it is too difficult, or too dangerous. Yet, they had a purpose much greater than themselves to keep pushing them forward, and so do we! Our mission and purpose is not complete, and it won’t be until Christ returns and ushers in the day of the resurrection.
