As disciples, through Christ's death and resurrection we have profound freedom! It is more than political freedom, like we have in the United States. It is a freedom from sin, death and the devil. It is a freedom that changes our perspective of the world. It is a freedom that leads us to act towards others in love, and not in selfishness. Drawing from John 8 and Galatians 5, we are called to stand firm in this freedom, continually seeking to live in the liberty that Christ has secured for us, and leading others to live in this freedom too.
