Passage: John 14:25-28
The prophets of old wrote during times of great conflict, attempting to live in foreign lands with their enemies or under the shadow of a destroyed Jerusalem. We are called to live alongside those we don’t agree with in harmony, reflecting God’s love and peace in our world. Micah is yet another prophet that God used to admonish His people. He let them know that their idolatry and wickedness would bring destruction and exile. Today, God has made peace with His people through Christ, and He calls us to make peace with others.
