One of the key reasons to celebrate is that it teaches the next generation what is important in our life. It builds culture. As we focus on how we rejoice in the work of God in our lives, as modern disciples of Jesus, we can do so in a way that shows the next generation what is important in our lives of faith and obedience to Christ. We can focus on that which will encourage and strengthen us in the hard moments and experiences of this life, while being hope-filled in the exciting experiences too.
