We pray in the Lord’s Prayer that God will not lead us into temptation, and it seems pretty clear from Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians that God won’t tempt us beyond our capacity. But, where this often gets misunderstood is to include trials and struggles in our life, or unexplained tragedies. So, how we approach experiences of our life that can easily overwhelm us and lead us to despair? Where is God in those moments? The words of our Savior become hope that we cling to when He said, “I have come that they may have life abundantly”.
