The many gods that people follow in this life – greed, addiction, fame, power, etc… - ultimately lead to our oppression, and death. Yet, Jesus is our Good Shepherd, who leads us away from sin and brokenness in this world and into His abundant life. The imagery of a shepherd protecting his flock, and leading them to good pasture, is what we experience every day in the truth and grace of our Savior Jesus Christ.
